By the way, I DO believe in God, but there is one place where I believe differently than the majority.
If God is so great, then how can a human (Jesus, Peace be upon Him) be compared to God? I don't understand why it can't be accepted that God is God - the most high, and no human can be compared to him, and the fact that Jesus was SENT BY GOD, but not God. Being sent by God, Jesus was still a prophet, and as great as those who make him sound.

You're mostly saying "because Jesus IS God" - but you're not asking the question of how one human can be compared TO God!

That's rare- a Christian using logic to support their beliefs. You make a valid point, and if more people put some thought into their questions this section might be able to reach a consensus!
Pertaining to your religion, I agree with you.
By the same token, why do so many here ask questions regarding God as a tangible personification? I don't personally believe in God, but it gets old to see people asking non-Christians what they would do if God popped in and said, "Hi!"
Such questions assume that a nonbeliever can conveniently become pious at a moment's notice, which is just as silly as an atheist telling a Christian to abandon God for a day or two just for fun.

Jesus isn't being compared to God. Jesus was both fully human and fully divine, therefore you can't compare him to God because he is part of the trinity. Through the trinity he is both Jesus and one with God. You're focusing on the human part solely, but that's not the complete picture and that is what is causing your confusion.

So you do not believe the scriptures that say He is God? John 1:1 says "In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word WAS God" --the word is Jesus Christ--
Also see John 14, the whole chapter- I know it is confusing to some- but remember God can do whatever He wills- and He is not human like us- He became human through Jesus Christ, but He is all Spirit- and His ways are not our ways nor His thoughts our thoughts- There are many many mysteries that we will never know about- but that we are to believe in what He says, in His written word. And yes Jesus had no sin- Only God has no sin- and He rose from the dead- who can defeat death? Only God alone-
Romans 11:33
Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways!

Jesus wasn't a prophet. He wasn't born of Joseph and Mary. He wasn't buried and returned to dust. He rose again!!!
He was the human form . . . . I think you believe in God but are not born again. You need the Holy Spirit to comprehend this and make it real to you.
Read the Word of God and it will become real to you.
By the way, Jesus was perfect so how could he be human.

Jesus is not God. Jesus is a prophet as noted in the Scriptures, but, Jesus is the Son of God in that Jesus had a prehuman existence in heaven. Jesus before coming to earth spent untold eons with his Father in heaven. Jesus, before being born as a human, was an angle in heaven, the first creation of God, His only begotten Son. Jehovah created Jesus, known as Michael in heaven, before anything else, everything else then was brought into existence through Jesus, for Jesus, and by Jesus, this is why he is known as God's Master Worker. Jehovah God transferred the life of His Son Michael into the womb of Mary so he could be born as a perfect human since God is his true Father and no human man. This is why Jesus is known as a new creation, because Jehovah God never before had done such a thing, he never before transformed the life of one of his creations into another one. This made possible the saving of fallen mankind throught the ransom sacrifice of Jesus' life and the exercising of faith in that ransom.

Well, Jesus is compared to God because if you believe in the Holy Trinity, then Jesus IS God. He's not just a prophet.

It all comes down to the first chapter of John. The Word was with God and the Word was God. Through him all things were created. The Word is Jesus. So, that is where the comparisons come from....among other places.

And this shows a fundamental difference with our faiths. We believe Jesus is the messiah, the Son of Man and the Son of God. He existed before all things and gave us all things.

Your Quran was taken from the Bible. Only hatred was added. In the Bible we are told that we are a liar if we deny that Jesus is the Christ.
He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son. Yes Jesus was the final Prophet, but He was also the Christ and God.
