This means Christians should run away when attacked, or die for the cause like your master.

You don't know your Bible at all. In one circumstance Christ told Peter to put away His sword, that is not always the rule of life. Why was Peter carrying a sword if Christ was against it?
Luke 22:35 "And Jesus said to them, "When I sent you out without money belt and bag and sandals, you did not lack anything, did you?" They said, "No, nothing." 36 And He said to them, "But now, whoever has a money belt is to take it along, likewise also a bag, and whoever has no sword is to sell his coat and buy one. 37 "For I tell you that this which is written must be fulfilled in Me, `AND HE WAS NUMBERED WITH TRANSGRESSORS'; for that which refers to Me has its fulfillment." 38 They said, "Lord, look, here are two swords." And He said to them, "It is enough."

You are absolutely correct. Some sects of Christianity, such as the Mennonites believe that. Many of them were killed by the Catholic church, but the survivors have many, many descendants.

When Genghis Khan was attacking the Sami (indigenous peoples of Finland), he was unsuccessful and swore he would never return to attack them because they kept disappearing. They wouldn't stay and fight in order to be defeated. Their descendents are still alive too.

Maybe it's time to value peace above pride.

What Bible are you reading? Here's what Jesus REALLY said:

Luke 22:36
he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.
KJV

The admonition to "turn the other cheek" was a specific context, which you seem to want to ignore.

the bible also teaches an eye for an eye and there are many examples of just war and combat (think David v Goliath). just because they aren't a complete death cult (like the muslims) doesn't mean they are pacifists either
