Yes, you can, as long as you meet the minimum requirements for the program. Your husbands income and yours if you work are what they go by, not his employment. I could have taken WIC also when I served when my son was little, however my wife and I decided to do it on our own. It was rough and we struggled, but we made it. I don't condemn anyone who uses it. My neice used it and I support anyone who does if they qualify as does my sons girlfriend who is carrying our first grandson due this month. Best of luck to you and your husband. He has my supprort. I'm not sure of the particulars for the WIC program, but I'm aware that a number of my friends were on the program when I was serving in San Diego.

Apply and hopefully you and your child will get on the program.

It's pretty sad how the Navy gets screwed... we are stationed in areas that are usually FAR more expensive than the Army or Air Force, and VHA rarely covers the difference.

yes you can. I'm serving in the Navy and i"m on it. WIC depends on how much your household makes, if you have a good paying job and your husband is in the Military they might not put you on it, but just try, worst WIC can do is say no right?

Good luck.

you're formally an individual now, and also you do not might want to do what your moms and dads inform you to do. And being so youthful, and small, and this being your first being pregnant (highly because you have not seen an OB wellbeing practitioner yet), a house beginning, i think is an quite undesirable theory. What if some thing is incorrect with the baby, like being breeched, you want to bypass to the clinical institution, the position they have each and each and every of the technologies there had to provide a healthful infant. or possibly you'ld want a C-area, because your pelvis received't be sufficiently vast to provide vaginally, this befell to my sister. yet, advance a backbone for the sake of your unborn infant, and tell your moms and dads you do not might want to take heed to them any extra, you'd be a mom. If both be sure (or boyfriend) abuse you, call the police, and they can positioned you in a secure abode for abused women human beings. Is there a reason you won't be able to stay with your boyfriend's moms and dads? Or did you get pregnant with a guy who doesn't have a pastime?

Yes, usually you are no loger eligible after he makes first class... that is if you're not working as well. His command should have info and phone numbers to help you get on WIC. I have even seen some low ranking guys with multiple children get on food stamps. Make sure he actually talks to his command, they will help you wiht anything.

Yes, WIC's criteria is based upon your/your husband's income regardless of his/your occupation. A copy of his earnings statement will determine if you qualify.

As long as he's an enlisted man. My husband is a former marine, so believe me I know how hard it is to live off the gov't paycheck enlisted men receive. I swear there the ones who should be millionaires.

Good Luck and God Bless!
