Will my license still be needed in the insurance investigation, what if my license is suspended?! It's still his fault right, because the car was not on

Ignore the naysayers who are insisting they will ask you who drove the car there. It doesn't matter. It was parked. They hit it. They are at fault and your license status doesn't come into it. Just get an estimate of what it will cost to fix your damages, and tell them to get you paid.

First off- lying to an insurance company- bad idea. If they catch you (which they likely will) it will just launch a big investigation in thier investigation unit and slow down the claim.

Second, the fact that your license is suspended has nothing to do with whos at fault in the accident. If the other driver is at fault and has valid insurance- they could care less if your license is suspend- they just want to get your car in pre-loss condition.

If it can be proven that you drove the car there, you may have some expensive problems on your hands. But you may have a case to be made that since the vehicle was not being operated at the time of the accident you may not need to prove that you are licensed. Someone else could have parked your car there.

no licence is required from you if the other party admits his fault and his insurance company admits theri liability. He still has to restore yur car to how it was just before the loss. You need your licence only if you go to claim from your comapny and then its to show whether you are licenced to drive not whether its suspended or expired. otherwise they only reduce the settlement by a certain preetrmined percentage or quantum. the other party cannot reudiate liability just cs you dont have a licence...........cos you were parked and not in the vehicle.

You should not need to show your license. You
should be glad that the insurance company did
not no about you license.Hope the car was at
home.Other than that you was not driving. But
with my car insurance, the other driving must
be as one of the driver.

Your license shouldn't be needed. If so, say your father/brother/friend parked it there.

No, it won't be needed to settle your claim. You'll probably need your vehicle registration and a form of i.d. to get paid though.
