Check into your local city or town and find out if they do "Adopt a Family" (thats what it is called where I live) if your low income, you fill out some paperwork and info on your kids and someone may choose your family to buy gifts for ): Good luck!

Contact your local branch of the Elks Lodge, Lions Club or even Salvation Army, some churches also offer their services. My family was low on funds my whole adolescent life but we never went with out a Christmas. All these organizations need is your Name and a contact number and of course your address, they will not turn you in to any other organization or service without your permission. It is 100% confidential and they do the shopping for your children by age and gender, some even ask what your children is into and go by that. Some, especially the Elks or Shriner's also offer a food box so that you can receive everything you need to make your holiday meal at no cost to you.

you could try your local salvation army, christmas mother or operation santa claus....my husband and I join a book or dvd club every year (we are always sure to fulfill our commitment to them, and if you shop wisely, they're not a bad deal...lots of people don't agree with clubs like that, but when you break it down book for book, it's actually a good deal). So try book of the month club, or childrens book of the month club (that one you get 8 books for 2 dollars, and you can have them bill you...I believe you have 2 years to get five more books...not bad, if you ask me). In order to keep from getting charged for something you don't want, keep a close eye out for the monthly selection) This isn't a sales pitch, but I thought it'd be a good idea...I've never had a problem with it, as long as I set boundaries (like only 2 or three..it's tempting to join a bunch, but later on you may not be able to keep up)... you still have a few days left to get something here by christmas...Good luck!

Is there somewhere in your neighbourhood or city that helps parents in need? Like a foodbank, church, drop-in center? Those are places that can help you. I dont know where your located at, but check around. The sooner the better. Just be honest with them when you do find somewhere and I'm sure they'll be more than willing to help you.

You can go to the Salvation Army-alot of times you can find almost new things-toys and such-for a very small price. And there is a website. www.freecycle.com if not com try org.
anyway-you can say what you want and need and people donate things for free on there.
Good luck!
