And why?

Cheers. By the way, I am a 'no. no.' person as well with regard to this question. However, I like innocent men sometimes, it's nice to have someone that vulnerable... (not in a taking advantage way, though.)

'If you love someone, you will keep yourself pure for them.' - It all depends on how you define 'pure' though. I expect myself to have loving sex with my future husband (or wife, whatever happens, happens.) I don't expect to feel soiled in any way by the fact that I have had some experience. And by the looks of the answers on here, honey, most 'future spouses' out there DONT wish their partner to be a virgin, so actually thatd be going against their wishes...

I was not a virgin when I married and neither was my husband. Neither of us had more than a couple partners before. Personally, I am glad neither of us were. Sexual satisfaction, IMO, is important in a marriage. I've known people who got divorced because one partner could not satisfy the other. I think it's best to find this out BEFORE people make a lifelong commitment. That doesn't mean I condone or endorse sleeping around or unsafe sex. It simply means that I believe people should lose their virginity when *they*, as individuals, feel ready to do so (and to take responsibility for that decision by practicing safe sex etc...). I wouldn't have minded if my husband had been a virgin though. If that's a person's decision, to wait until they're married, that's their choice. I simply chose not to wait and I don't regret it.

many times talking, neither adult males nor women human beings have sufficient self-appreciate at present to maintain chastity till marriage. Society teaches them that even with urges they sense should be entertained with out forethought or interest, and that whatever they do in life, it really isn't any longer their fault. Anymore, i do not understand if my beliefs have a non secular foundation to them or no longer, because I really have many beliefs that bypass adverse to the religion i became raised with. Regardless, i imagine it really is probable a daft and unrealistic wish that human beings may wait till they're married to have sex, or that they could even wait till they're prepared to handle the outcome of having sex, which incorporates STD's or toddlers. There are nonetheless some, very few, exceptions that really have some self-discipline and self-appreciate, yet they're extra uncommon than those who get struck by lightning an identical day they win the lottery.

I am a virgin and in my late thirties. I would love to meet a fellow virgin because she would understand what i go through each day to stay a virgin but in the end its how shes living her life now that counts more and if she has teh ability to unselfishly love another person. Ihope this helps

No. I am married, and retained my virginity for marriage.
There are many health reasons that could be listed for why (such as to reduce the risk of STD's and such), but the main reason for me is a moral one.
If you love someone, you will keep yourself pure for them.
If you love yourself more, you will probably sleep with as many people as you want regardless of your future spouses wishes.

I was up until a couple of months ago. I was his first and he was mine. We have every intention in the world of getting married when I get finished with school. So no I don't expect him to be a virgin, but I was the one who took his virginity.

i'm not going to answer the first part of the question, but as for the second part, if i waited to get married until i found a virgin, i'd probably never have a chance to get married.
