Agree with Ken, not much will come of it - I hope. She doesnt have the brains for politics. She`s a bogan who should stay in the fish n chips shop.
I cant believe how many people are saying "yeah, lets vote for her!" What??

Well, I am over politics, democracy is meant to be about the people not about the figurehead politicians that don't even head a word their electorate has to say.
I think the clearest fact of this is the new ir laws.
Democracy- elected by the people to speak for the people.
New IR laws, made to suit the minority and punish/ restrict the majority, in this case the minority is business owners and the majority being the people/ workers
Don't get me started I want to start a revolution here and bring down the government- a coup perhaps, who is with me?
as for Pauline- she is just a puppet for the government to sabotage, unfortunately because she had some great ideas in the midst of the rest of her babble.

Brilliant!
Oz doesn't want to end up with the over zealous political correctness that has ruined most of the northern hemisphere, Our country is brilliant, and most REAL Aussies have the attitude of accept Aussie culture or leave, so it would be good to see Pauline get a seat in the upper or lower house just to keep the issues fresh....dont be suckers mate, if you give in to this "catering to every ones needs" Oz will be as rooted as the US and UK and we will all be lap dogs to minority groups.
and for any one that has immigrated and is offended by this "NO ONE IS MAKING YOU STAY, ACCEPT THE AUSSIE WAY OR LEAVE!"

I think anyone can have a go in Australian Politics. However, when you are in a position to have a public microphone you need to be very careful about what you say. It is easy to have the right thought in your head, but say something else. I saw her interview on Sunrise this morning, well the tail end of it. She already mentioned that, as far as I understood that she doesn't think that Muslim women should be allowed to have license photo's with their headgear on. Seriously, that wasn't the way to start the comeback. In my opinion if that is your religion then you should be free to wear the headdress. If that is how you are going to be seen in public. But give everyone a fair go. The voters will decide. I think it was leaked early to put her on the back foot. That said, her brand of politics isn't my particluar brand of vodka. I am labour to the end.

Misguided as her political foray turned out, I loved the guts she showed to take the average word on the street to a political level. I've lived in northern Queensland and identify with many of the issues she raised. Just waiting to see .........she is "special"

Don't care. A good deal of what was said about her X years ago was disinformation, it's true. But she's had her day and is just a lame duck.
