Religion and reason really are quite incompatible. Reason explains away most religious beliefs, therefore is usually discouraged by the church. Martin Luther, the founder of the Lutheran denomination was quoted as saying, 'Reason must be deluded, blinded, and destroyed. Faith must trample underfoot all reason, sense, and understanding, and whatever it sees must be put out of sight and ... know nothing but the word of God.' Unfortunately this is the attitude of indoctrinated religion today. You'd have better luck combining reason with spirituality.

No! The Bible says in1 Cor 1:21 "... the world through its wisdom did not come to know God, God was well-pleased through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe."
Salvation does not and never will be reasonable to those who don't believe.

Yes, it will. I confidently claim that the true religion established by God Himself is Catholicism. The foundation of Catholicism is inseparable from innate natural reason. It's not science vs. religion or faith vs. reason; it's truth, which is aided and supported by faith, reason, science, etc.

Someone with a reasonable, open but guarded mind will discover God's Truth, not in conflict with reason.

"Faith comes from hearing and by hearing the word of God" Romans 10:17- it is only through hearing the gospel of Jesus Christ that one can receive the truth of God- that one can be saved. That is how the Lord reveals Himself- through His Holy Spirit which convicts the hearts of sinners....and leads those who put their faith in Jesus, leads them into all truth of His word.

It may, if you look for God's rules in reason. These Laws are for the unity of man to live in joy and peace with one another.
