i am 16, asian and brown, i have never in a long time been to a mixed school, but it is unusual for guys to stare as much as they are, at me? do the guys stare because they think im different or because they like me? if they do like me, why dont they speak to me, do guys feel intimidated cause im coloured cause im the only ethnic girl in my school or cause im not girlfirend material? i really like this guy but i dont know how to attract my first boyfriend?help

hey- they might be staring because they think youre attractive; try not to feel bad because youre asian. Theyre probably thinking that youre exotic and are sick of just looking at english girls all the time! if they make you feel bad, just look them straight in the eye and theyll stop. If you like someone, i know its easy to say but hard to do- everything will just fall into place easily. if somethings not easy, its not worth it, u know what i mean? not that you shouldnt put effort in it, but it should be enjyable and make you feel nice. give him a look of interest, smile, and possibly ask somehting about the weather..lol its the cliche! good luck.

Maybe it is because they like you, come on they must have some Asians around your town. Maybe you are pretty don't feel intimidated, hold your head up high and do your thing.
As for the boyfriend thing, it'll happen just don't hold your breath.

My you must be beautiful, you hang in there, they will find enough courage to talk to you. Yes, I think you should say hello to this "guy" you like. Give them a chance they are just checkin you out for what kind of "material" you really are.

i dont think it's that bad that everyone stares at you. you should juz stare back. you cant really tell what it means until you literally ask... but if it concerns you this much, then yell at them to stop looking at you.
to attract your new interest, go up to him to ask him to hang out or something. is he in any of your classes? do u see in the halls? smile or wave at him. get to know this guy first.

i think guys stare only if they are attracted or intrigued by something. that happened to me too in hs but i didnt realize til they told me in college that they would stare and whistle at me down the hall. so if you like this guy start talking to him and be yourself.
make sure you are confident and happy when you approach him.

well the only thing i can think of i mean like at that time did you have some food on your chin i don't know? im not saying you never wash cos it could of been one time and they look at you thinking "its that girl do i tell her the other day she had some food on her chin the other day i didn't say anything and i feel really bad and ashamed"

I'm with Kum-Bucket69. Go up and ask them. People who stare have a reason and they are uncomfortable when confronted. Do it politely but face it head on... if you that it will soon stop.
