Have read about it online with inconclusive results. Does its physical properties lend itself to fading the ink in a tattoo? Let me know. Thanks!

No, I highly doubt it will help. Hydroquinone only inhibits melanin production, it won't affect tatoo ink. You can look at having laser to remove it, I think IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) might be able to help. HTH : )

The ink will fade period due to it not being done by a professional. You are still not professionally trained. having sterile equipment does not mean that the environment is sterile. Did you know that artists try to keep everything sterile? Professional Artists are trained with OSHA practices, and sterility of the environment is not the only thing you should worry about. They also have proper equipment built for this, and this equipment knows just how deep, and how much ink to release. At home tattoos have an over all higher risk of infection, which can lead to sepsis, and if not treated, can even be fatal. If you really want a tattoo that bad, save a couple bucks and go to a Professional Trained Artist. Tattoos are a life long commitment, and I'm sure you would rather be safe that sorry. Is an at home tattoo really worth your health?
