When they are wasted and run up a huge guilt trip about breaking up? And get completely emotional?

Most women are VERY emotional, it's just our nature. They start thinking of the good times they had with their ex and feel like they want that company again. Basically they don't want to be alone but their judgment is impaired when they get wasted so they turn to the 1st guy they can think of which is usually the ex. The ex is better than just some random guy.

In the past, when I have "drunk dialed" my ex's it was usually because I felt invincible and I could say whatever I wanted. I've called an ex before because he was an evil, evil man and I could only say what I wanted to when I was drunk and he couldn't control me anymore. I've also called an ex because I wanted to tell him how sorry I was for wrecking our relationship. Both of these things couldn't have been said without the help of alcohol. I think that most girls call their ex's when they are drunk because they still have a connection with them and maybe in some sick way they never want that connection to go away. The only way to keep it is to occasionally call the ex and "see whats up". The emotional part of it just comes with being drunk. They hear your voice again and they think of the good times and they probably (at that moment) want you back. All of these things, again, wouldn't happen without our good friend alcohol. Most of the time these drunk calls can be forgotten. And the girl who called, more than likely wants them forgetten as well. However, sometimes these drunken calls can be a way for you to hear how they truely fell about you.

Sadly and truly, men do this too. My ex's don't even have to be wasted to call me. When people weren't ready for the relationship to end, or didn't see it coming, ofcourse they're going to want to make it work again. The "wasted" part is nothing more than the liquid courage to do something that is totally against their better judgment while sober.

Obviously if they are doing this they are not completely over that person. To me an ex is an ex for a reason and they should just "get over it" I guess that is all I can give you. ~my opinion

i don't call my ex. he's an ***, he cheated on me and if i did call him i would raise hell. and no i'm not over it, he should just die. no just kidding ha ha. i think girls call their ex's because they feel they made a mistake deep down inside and yeah it's guilt. they try to hide it but when they are drunk that all changes.

Because they could be real clost friends. That dosn't mean that they are going out with each other it just means that they are clost friends or just friends. So dont get mad.

man is nature....lol cause we are so emotional and if we get involved with someone is cause we care and is hard to say good bye or because we get lonely, or because we want to see if they can get back with us now the question is why you guys do it??????
