My 4 year old hates her 2 year old sister to touch anything that is hers. But, of course it is ok for the 4 year old to touch the 2 year olds stuff. What do you do about this situation?

Oh, this is going to come out sooooo wrong, but I would let the 2 yr old loose in her room. Make her sit and watch so that she can see that the little one won't destroy her stuff. If that doesn't work, time out each and every time she throws a fit and she absolutely cannot touch the younger ones toys till she becomes a big girl.

She just doesn't want to share. Create some kind of system where she gets 1 thing taken away for every time she refuses to share. If she starts screaming and crying, put her into time out. Make sure you calmly explain to her what she did wrong, though. It won't help if you don't. When she does share, she gets a reward (do something for her sister, too).

Try watching Nanny 911 or Supernanny, they're really helpful for this kind of stuff.

Punish the 4 year old. Sharing is a learned thing, it teaches empathy and concern for her fellow man.

Children dont just magically develop these skills, you have to teach it to them, and then hold them accountable for that knowledge.

She should share with her baby sister, because she loves her baby sister. If she wont share, she gets punished. End of story.
