I usually use a couple bay leaves to take away the fishey smell. Any other suggestions?

Old Bay Seasonings. They have a great crab boil blend.

fresh crab shouldnt have a "fishy smell" it should smell sweet and fresh. Lemon grass and onion. Whatever taste you like, nothing really set in stone on personal taste
