Without going upstairs to get my flute, I'm about 99% sure that you finger C and then trill the 1st trill key. It could be the 2nd trill key. Try both and see what happens!!

It is absolutely, positively, the SECOND trill key

For the C-D an octave lower (in the staff), use the first trill key

Finger C and trill the second trill key.
