Well, what do you do with witches? Burn them. What else burns? That's right, wood. And does wood sink or float. What else floats? That's right, ducks. So, in order to be a witch, one must weigh the same as a duck.

My goodness, quite a bit of ignorance here!
Go with the advice of Myaloo, Moirae and others. Witchvox is a good place to start.
Make sure you are ready to be dedicated to your path. Wicca is not easy, though it can be very rewarding. My own dalliances in Wicca led me back to a very generic paganism because, frankly, I did not have the dedication it took to be a practicing Wiccan. I admire those who do.
Do NOT listen to the ignoramuses who tell you it is all of the devil or make patronizing statements about Harry Potter. They have no clue what they are talking about.
I hope you find what you seek.

There are plenty of websites, but as my knowledge of witchcraft was garnered from books I can't help you there. One of the learned witches here surely can though. I'm glad you believe I'm real, some people think I'm silly but I believe in Christians. Don't listen to anyone who tells you you're making a pact with the devil, they know jack about witchcraft, happy hunting and blessed be!

Start with witchvox.com. There are a lot of great courses out there. First and foremost, read a LOT before you decide that you definitely want to be a witch (you'll want to seroiusly look into Wicca), and read a lot MORE before deciding which tradition you'd like to follow. There are a lot of traditions out there and they have different belief structures.
You can email me if you have any questions. I'm not all that wizened, but I definitely know enough to know that I'm not all that wizened. :-)
Bright blessings!

Dear: The question is why? Yes there are those who call themselves 'witches'..but they have no real powers...no different than anyone else. That Wicca instructs in the use of herbs..why not try joining the 'homeopathic' bunch of folks in your community. At least you might make a living at it..or are you just after the 'shock' value to your parents or others?.hmmmm

Witches are real dear. After all, I think I am fairly substantial....
ANywho go to www.witchvox.com and read everything you find on there...it's one of the best websites out there to learn about WItchcraft, and you can use the area homepages to find other WItches in your area! Don't go to those online schools, they are crap and just want your money, and BTW WItches don't even believe "Satan" exists, so we definately don't worship him or demons. We take respondsibility for our own actions and shortcomeings..."The Devil made me do it" is a pathetic excuse for someone's own failings.

#1 Make sure it is DEFINATELY for you.
#2 I have heard witchvox.com is halfway decent
Also,I am 14.But I wouldn't necessarily care myself mature....
Anyway,I know a Wiccan(witch)our age as well.He was a Christian but he looked deeper into Christianity and saw that it was not for him.He studied Wicca in the same fashion. He is happy with his religion now.Just know that Wiccans are not very well accepted in some communities if word gets around to somebody who thinks that they are "evil".(I am a Christian.)

Start reading all the books you can on every type of witchcraft then pick the one(s) that best suites you. Also don't listen when they tell you the best witchcraft is "white-light" witchcraft. Don't be afraid to explore all witchcraft.

Thats because we are real. Theres no website to tell you how many witches there are. Most of us are generally secretive because there are insane Christians out there that will do everything they can to make our lives miserable.
However, you may like to stop saying that you're "mature for my age" because the people that say that usually aren't.
Start by reading books on Wicca. Then make your choice.
