Does anyone feel that they don't actually feel love for Jesus in their heart, even though you turning your life over to the Lord?

Do I always love Jesus? I try my very best to. Do I always FEEL that love? No! There are times when things just seem so unfair and so difficult that I want to give up or get angry at God. But that's where love is truly put to the test. Do a husband and wife fight? Sure, sometimes. But do they still love each other? Yes (we hope). God knows that when we are at our lowest and most vulnerable points, it is hard to love Him with the same kind of joy we used to. But as one of the previous answerers said, love is a choice. We demonstrate our love through our actions, not our feelings.

So to answer your question, I (like everybody else) don't love God PERFECTLY (if I did, I would never sin), but I do love Him and I try to make Him happy out of love. My will sometimes fails, but perseverance is a wonderful trait in prayer!

:-)

If you have accept what Christ did for you and you follow Him don't worry about what you feel at first. Love grows, even that happened with our parents. You didn't know your mom or dad when you were an infant, it took time and experience for you to learn to love them. Same with God, Seek Him and pray. Go to a good Church were you can fellowship with other believers, Read the words of Gods. Trust me, love will grow with the years.God Bless you You may be a babe in Christ.

You should have a heart so full of love for Him. Some people don't experience Him in the same way. Keep praying.

Oh I feel his presence and I feel so much love for him. This is a big difference between those that love Jesus and receive him in Holy Communion and those that do not receive him.
