My 9 year old daughter has long, fine, straight hair with a little wave to it. When I brush her hair it look so pretty, but 5 min. later it looks all messy again. My younger daughter and I both have curly hair, so I dont really know what to do. She wash and condition her hair every night, but I let it dry naturally, Do you think if I blowdry it that would help?

perhaps u need to try some conditioners, like leave in sprays as well as mousse or gel. if u put that in when her hair is wet, and let it air dry, it might control the frizzies and keep it in place. u can also braid the hair when slightly damp, and let lose later when it's dry. she will have cute wavy hair that is not frizzed out! :)

She should stop washing it every night, first off. And continue to let it air dry. She probably just needs to keep her hair up in a pony tail or a ponytail-platt. I had extremely long hair until I was 16 and it was fine when I was little. And the only way to solve that is to keep it up.

I think you should try to blowdry it.. but if you want (even though shes a bit young) you could curl or straighten her hair. Other then that, it's just her natural hair and it most likely won't change. sorry! All i can say is maybe when she is older it will look better?

Braid her hair at night it will keep the waves under control and make her hair less messy in the morning.

Buy a hair straightner!! Not a cheap one either that will burn your hair!! my hair is medium length and always has a wave like i just took it out of a pony tail. but when i straighten my hair it keeps it soooo straight for like 3 days but use ion packs you can buy them at Sally beauty supply. But seriously a straightner it woulnt damage her hair as long as its not a cheap one!!!

it would help it from clumping up and looking messy...but it really just going to take puberty and her hair getting thicker, so it doesnt tangle so bad...Honestly I would sut her hair into a sholder lenght bob....kid with long tangled hair look like they are not taked care of properly, even if they are.....just remember that the hair will grow back if you cut it so dont be afraid....

i think u should blow dry it becasue it will come out nicer and if u let it dry by itself it gets messy and more dirty faster.
