I know there are very few of them in ME. They are all different just like the guys are. Some don't fit any stereotype of an engineer and some do. Some are very hot and some are not so hot. I have dated a few.
They defiantly are smart and will be making a good living.

I'll answer to each trait:
Smart: All of them.
Tough: In a way yes, as engineering's a lot of tough work.
Funnier: The ones I know, not really.
Datable: They're on level grounds with everyone else.
Quiet: Surprisingly few. Most I know are quite the opposite.
Annoying: who isn't?
It seems you're either seeking to date one, or are curious/jealous cos you didn't get into an engineering program. It's not the end of the world if that's the case.

relatively! i'm a chemical engineer. I had no problems in any know...my type replaced into approximately 10-20% women human beings. My terrific buds have been adult males. My recollection with know to engineering is that there are specific majors (i think of civil/environmental) that have approximately 40-50% lady, and others (including electric powered and chemical) that are 10-20%. in case you do the learn on the internet, i'm useful you will locate the real data if being one in all purely some gals bothers you... I say decide for it the two way.

As a man who deals with women in these professions on a daily basis, I generally find that they are smarter than the typical populace (then again, most engineers / architects are). Other than that, they vary as you would expect any group of people to.

Well, for one thing, they make enough money in their careers so that THEY never have to be a kept woman and they can support their children better than someone who works in a more traditional career. They are free, hardworking, classy and have happier lives than most women trapped in wage-slavery, poverty, bad marriages, and ignorance.

There are male nurses why not female engineers. I work with a bunch of them and they're just normal people. I don't understand what the big deal is.
