I knew some marines that were there(conditioning platoon) for 6 months and were never dropped. You can't think negative. Remember this no matter how much your drill instructors yell at you, they want you in the marine corps. Their jobs depend on you walking across that parade deck. You will make it. I knew some people that I seriously thought would be dropped and sent home but they graduated and some went career. To answer some of your other questions. To me, the hardest thing about boot camp were the mind games. They try to break you because they want you to be strong. They look for your weaknesses. I never gave any of my drill instructors the satisfaction of seeing me lose it. There will be days when you wonder why did I sign up but, every Marine must endure boot camp. I hated running. It was the worse thing about boot camp for me. But, I have no regrets. Just stay focused on the big picture and you will make it. Thousands of people become Marines every year and they are no different from you. Good luck and Semper Fi!!!!

Its alot harder to get into the USMC then them to let you go in BT. They will almost force you to stay under most circumstances.

you are in PCP until you can pass your IST, until they decide that you are fat and you will always be fat and they kick you out, or until you are hurt so badly that they kick you out... my advice, pass the IST

You better start doing situps and running alot everyday starting now, or you will be ashamed of yourself later. The drill instructors will make sure of that.

Good Luck...................................................................
