No such thing as a Trinity! There are only TWO in the God head, not three. The Holy Spirit/Ghost is the Breath of God, not God, and Jesus the Christ of God is the Only Begotten Son of God since from before the Creation. God, Jehovah, is the Father of Jesus and He is also the God of Jesus.

Before Jesus came down to earth from above He was Part of the Godhead= God the father+God the Son(Jesus)+God the Holy Spirit. God the father sent His only Son Jesus to die in place of mankind which was doomed because of the sin of Adam. Jesus was God before He came to earth in the form of a man and lived on earth as only a man anointed by God the father to destroy the works of the devil and take the penalty of sin off of mankind. After accomplishing all that He was sent to do He returned to His position as God the son which is why many choose to call Him God. The Bible teaches that He is both God and Lord but there are many that would disagree. I just encourage you to also ask Jesus why is He called God I'm sure He will answer you because that's what He does. Answers prayers. and tell WILLIAM below that if the Holy Spirit is not a person how does someone lie to "Him" in Acts 5:3-4

It might help to look at it like this: The St. Louis Cardinals recently won the World Series. They won it as a TEAM. The team is made up of many separate, individual, players. But they are of one team. The third baseman didn't win the World Series, the left fielder didn't win the World Series. The team won the World Series. One team, several players on that one team. The Father, the Son (Jesus) the Holy Spirit. Three God heads or persons/beings--one God. The three compose one God like the separate players compose one team.
