Why do people like sleeping in the nude? I have tried it and it is so uncomfortable. I tried just sleeping with a sleepshirt with no underwear and even that was not comfortable. Without clothing I feel very vulnerable. When I was with a boyfriend we constantly go into arguements because everytime we finished having sex I had to put on a t-shirt or gown and he nothing in between myself and him. When I explained how uncomfortable I felt about not having any clothes on he felt insulted and said he felt that I didn't trust him. What does me wanting to have some clothes on have to do with me not trusting him.? Sleeping in the nude is not for everyone.

OH MY GOD!! I totally know what you're talking about!! I HATE sleeping in the nude and my boyfriend is completely into it. It's fine for him, I don't have a problem with it. But, like you, after sex, I go to put my clothes back on. Just feels more comfortable. You pretty much just described my life. I don't know what to tell you except that you're right...it's not for everybody. Just a preference for some, and an uncomfortable annoyance for people like us.

I totally agree, i find it uncomfortable 2. I can sleep without a shirt on but i have to have undies on. But a lot of the time i'll wear a shirt 2. I just dont like it either. What if your house burnt down and you had 2 seconds to get out... at least you'd be clothed heh

It's got NOTHING to do with you not trusting him... its a personal preference.. thats it!!

I agree. Sleeping naked isn't for everyone. Some people like it because it makes them feel free and open. They might like the feel of the sheets around them, also. There is nothing wrong with having to put something on when you go to bed. It doesn't have to do with trust. You should sleep however you feel most comfortable.

I am the same way, I dont sleep well if I"m naked. I think it's a feeling of violation, whether or not you are being violated. Since our bodies are not used to being naked ALL the time, it makes your mind feel like something is wrong when you are asleep that way.

I think some people like it cuz they dont get tangled up in their clothes, but I just find it extremely uncomfortable. Plus, I end up getting really cold.

It has nothing to do with not trusting him. I can't sleep in the nude either, We come from a society where we have learned to wear clothes. I get cold without them and I always think, what if there is a fire and I can't get my clothes on in time?

Sleeping with clothes on is not for everyone, either! I sleep in underwear ONLY no matter how cold it is... NO SOCKS, puhleeze. I feel like I'm getting tangled up in shirts & sheets... I can't breathe thinking about it! HOWEVER. My BF sleeps in clothes (depending on weather...he gets cold easily, but even in summer he's dressed in something- HE has the "vulnerable issues"). There's usually something nearby for me throw on in case of fire...etc...

I prefer to sleep naked,I just find it more comfy. Also I believe it is healthier, apparently you can loose about a litre of sweat as you sleep,so if you wear jammies that is all held next to your skin, nasty! The skin needs to breath at some point.

HAY I totally agree I wear pajamas all the time usually a worn out t-shirt and some flannel bottems and my bf is always giving me lip about it. I can't STAND sleeping with nothing on.

I totally agree with you,,,,i would say 98% of the time i need to be wearing something when i sleep...to me having something on feels comfy. Your boyfriend needs to get a clue that not everyone likes to sleep naked. Usually the onyl time i sleep naked is if its summer time and the ac on,,thats when naked feels comfy to me.
