have it professionaly done at a salon, ask questions to the stylist, then when it comes time to dye it again, you know what to do! yay!

put a leave in conditioner on it overnight kind..then if u rele want to buy a hair color that has no ammonia in it that way it cant harm ur hair..but from medium brown to a blonde im not sure i would wait it out a little longer and go see a stylist. and since its damaged get ur ends clipped so u can take some of the dead off ur hair. that also helps

Before you do anything else to your hair, call some salons and find out if they carry a product by Joico called K-Pak. If not, search for it on e-bay. It is an intensive deep conditioner that can help make your hair much healthier. I am a dark brunette by birth and when my stylist dyed it to strawberry blonde, she put that on it immediately after wards, and my hair survived intact. So before even THINKING about putting any more chemicals on your hair, try K-Pak, then I suggest going to a hair dresser for the next dying of your hair, that way you can pick up how-to tips and other info from them.

I'm actually in the same process as you. I started dying it from black to blonde last november, totally killed it. It fried and I just chopped it all off. I hated it short but I wore extensions for awhile. If you dye it darker it's not as bad as dying it lighter. I just started dying it again. I would take everyone's advice and ask a professional :)

If you process it at all with bleach, it will cause more damage. Going from a darker color to a lighter color will likely require bleaching. Go to a salon and have them advise you on the best method. I am partial to the Aveda products. But the damage you've already done to your hair will have to grow out.

You can't. It'll damage your hair more to color it again, especially if you're going lighter. Make sure you go to a salon and that someone who knows about the condition of your hair is doing it. be sure to be using great products to preserve the condition of your hair before it breaks off and falls out (like mine did!)

yes, have a professional do it. just a tip, i would just add highlights and/or lowlights for now until the damaged hair grows out. a good conditioner like Biolage can really do wonders too. good luck!

properly its kindof risky, in spite of the incontrovertible fact that it relies upon on how extreme high quality the dye which you employ is. except you died i lik bright purple, nd your black roots are turning out to be in, i could recomend leaving it how that's in case you do come to a decision to, visit a proffessional to get it executed, and ask them how a lot harm it is going to do on your hair

i would love to know how you "killed" your hair...i've been dyeing my hair every month for a few years now...the ends are catching hell...but its still here...but as to your question....buy a really good hair color...one that has a pre-conditioner...it should help a lot
