i started them of as twists and i plan to let them lock. what should i do and what product should i use to speed up the locking process?

There are not any products to make your hair lock faster.. Hair just needs time, patience, and yes more time.. It's truely a process.
Locking can take anywhere from 4 - 8 months up to a year or so to fully lock.. It all depends on the texture of your hair..
I'm a full year in and still have some ends that are not sealed yet..
