The Best Food Gifts (not gift baskets)?

Question

For years I've purchased Christie Cookies and Koeze's Nuts (they're outstanding) as gifts for my clients. What are other specific recommendations for companies that sell great-tasting holiday gifts.

I guess I'm looking for answers that are not the first to jump to your mind (such as Harry & David).

some summer sausages with cheese, wine and crackers. some type of dessert that isn't sheapo home depo

i think you should try fruit cake (especially the one from the monastery..theyre so good)
