There's no safer way to dye your hair to not damage it. Try letting the color grow out and trim when youse see your roots are a length you would like and then dye again.

NO! if you hair is damaged very badly, you need to have the old/damaged hair grow out COMPLETELY if you don't want to risk it all breaking off.

You should just dye it your natural hair color and let it grow out from the roots let it get healthy again that's my suggestion anyways

well its kindof risky, but it depends on how high quality the dye that you use is.

unless you died i lik bright pink, nd your black roots are growing in, I would recomend leaving it how it is

if you do decide to, go to a proffessional to get it done, and ask them how much damage it will do to your hair

You should get a pixie cut. That way your short haircut will be cute & you will grow in healthy hair. Don't sport long, dyed, fried hair!
