but they wanna read their own agenda into it! it's harder to do that if you know what it says.

I don't mean to hurt your feelings, Tom. I mean, I know you and the guys spent a lot of time on it, but c'mon, we already have the Ten Commandments and the Beatitudes, what possible benefit could we get from reading the Constitution?

In all seriousness, though, I don't think the problem is with Christians. Too many Americans in general haven't read the Constitution, just like too many Americans don't vote or follow the news. Perhaps we need to start civics classes at a younger age in order to build up good habits and at least some basic knowledge.

You know I went to a Christian University and that was a required read for one of my History classes - just a thought.

I'm sure you have a specific part of the constitution you are referring to, which I suspect has to do with "separation of church and state", but you should be more specific so we know what question we are actually answering.

Perhaps we might ask if it is too much to ask a meaningful question when one opens oneself for a critique.
