Oh my God! Try Cetaphil Cream, or Aquafor, Vaseline Intensive Care w/Shea Butter, or the best...plain old Vaseline Petroleum Jelly. I put the vaseline on, wash my hands w/soap and water and when I dry them, they are soft. Try slathering the VPJ on at night and wear white cotton gloves. When you get up the next am, your hands will be so incredibly soft. Also, wear gloves when you go outside.

Lots of lotion & cream. I personally like Avon's Deep Moisturizing lotion or something along those lines.
Another trick is to use baby oil when you get out of the shower. When you skin is still damp, slather the oil on. It may feel funny, but it keeps you baby smooth. =) Another product that I like is Bath & Body Works' body scrubs. They're a little pricey ($18 a pop) but you will feel so soft & the oil in it really moisturizes your skin.
Shea butter I hear works really well too.
Good luck! Stay warm! =)

After bathing, bath or shower, while still wet squirt baby oil all over your body. Pat dry and use any dry skin lotion, also allover your body. Everyday use the lotion. If need be, get someone to rub onto your back or get a long handles paddle to apply lotion to your back.
Don't forget your hands and feet. Burt's Bees and Neutrogena make good products for these areas and aren't wallet breaking. Good Luck!

This time of the year is the worst for chapped hands. Where the skin around your cuticles seem to turn into tissue paper that painfully tears apart with the slightest provocation. I've found that soaking my hands in very warm, almost hot water for a couple of minutes...lets my skin absorb moisture, then I dip two fingers into vaseline and rub my hands together under warm water as though I am washing them. Blot them dry ...and go about my biz.

in usual cases you wont eliminate it entirely unless you go to the tropics and stay there, the best that can be hoped for is a happy medium, keep your skin moist with any source of moisturiser such as vaseline skin conditioner , get a whole house vaporiser, and use it frequently and commonly, make sure that you change the filters often, stay away from harsh chemicals that dry out your skin, such as heavy duty grease removers or detergents. ive found that a light coating of a ky jelly once a week helps tremendously good luck.

Take a warm bath and use baby oil.
Then put hydrocortisone 1%, after bathing.
It could be caused from the dryness, too, so you could get a vaporizor or humidifier to help...

I always have lotion on hand and use it often. Drinking more water will also help you stay hydrated.

Hi,
Use virgin organic coconut oil. Buy it from a health food store. I promise you will experience nothing like it :)
I hope that helps you out.
