How do I feel about the Lord Jesus?

He comes first in my life. First and foremost. Before I knew Him, I was looking for love in all the wrong places.

Little did I know that what I really needed was the perfect love of Jesus Christ.

I think He is awesome! My wife and I saw the new movie about Jesus' birth on Sunday and I cried so much watching it and praising Him that it was not just a cool movie but actually true!!

Please re-read John 3:16

Now tell me what it means to "believe in him (Jesus).

From his baptism to his crucifixion Jesus spent all his time giving us a message from God. He also, on several occassions warned us not to worship him.

Now for the question: What has he done for me? He has made God's message very clear. And, by doing that he has saved my soul - so to speak. He has introduced me to the Holy Spirit, who has witnessed to me by "mental telepathy" (not by a voice that came booming down from the ceiling), and he has physically witnessed to me by sending chills of happiness up and down my spine (not by performing selfish temporary so called "miracles").

What has Jesus done for me. He has made my life worth living.

I do not need a Bubba Preacher to twist the original Bible verses and add a mystery to understanding God. I do not need to know anything about Jesus except that he has brought me God's message. And by doing that he is certainly my savior.

Now, most Christians are saved by reading John 3:16. Myself included.

However, I am sorry but to ignore Jesus' message and claim that His blood would wash away my sins regardless of if I believe in him (his message)or not, wow! That just isn't what that scripture says.

If your auto mechanic tells you to change your oil regularly. You don't ask him who his father is. You don't even ask him if he has any magic way of keeping your car in good repair.

If you believe in your auto mechanic, you listen to his message, and you try to do what he says in regards to your car.

If you believe in Jesus, it doesn't mean that you believe he was a real person, it doesn't mean that you believe what some preacher said about him. It means that you believe his message; if you learn it, and if you apply it, then his advice will keep your soul in good repair. .. It will save your soul.

To believe in Jesus, means to believe what was important to him. It means to believe his message, which is God's message.

And, just what is God's message?

Harmony is harmony.

Disharmony is the only sin against God.

I think the man, Jesus, was a good man with some really great ideas. Unfortunately Paul took over and ruined it.

Jesus has done nothing for me but create a bunch of psychotic followers who force everyone to follow their rules whether they believe in their fairy tales or not. So... a bit pissed, actually.

He likely wasn't aware of the consequences of his actions, but still, he was a charlatan at best or, barring his very existence, which is a possibility, his "apostles" were.

I don't feel a thing, I never asked him to do anything for me. Never even met the dude. I hear he's great at trimming hedges, though. Him and his brother King Juan work for chicken-feed!

I feel great. I attribute most of my success in life to having a good relationship with God, so as long as I wake up the next day, it's all good.
