You write a gracious question. Thank you.
I am not up enough on my paleontology to know if we were supposed to have existed w/ dinosaurs - as cro-magnum or homo sapien.
The issue is whether or not Genesis 1 provides a scientifically accurate map of organic life. No and yes. No in the sense of fossils, dna mapping, and so forth. Yes iif one's science includes issues of orderliness, value, defeat of chaos (Chaos theory is a fascinating field where science comes to religion!), stages of being, and a beyondness "beyond" humanity. Just as Galileo debunked the theory the world revolves around the earth, theology continually debunks the science which believes the world revolves around our standards of knowldege.
Personally, I think Eve threw the apple core at a brontosaurus.

I am a Christian and I personally believe that man and dinosaur roamed the earth together. I believe that when God destroyed the earth through the great flood of Noah that the dinosaurs perished at that time. There is no way they could have fit on the ark. Science can create any test to try to "prove" whatever they are trying to prove. Fossils prove the dinosaurs existed. The great flood explains why they perished.

The fossils and "scientific evidence" are not to the contrary.

Here's what the fossils show:

There used to be big animals. They died. Period.

The animals are arranged (generally, but not always) from slowest to fastest, not oldest to youngest. The slowest animals were buried by the Flood first, on up to the larger/faster/smarter animals. Humans are on top of the Flood sediment because they were smart enough to find ways to stay afloat for a while, then they died and their bodies rotted, so they didn't leave many fossils. Likewise with the apes, who could climb to the tallest tree and then they died and rotted, leaving few fossils. There are few bird fossils because birds could fly around until they ran out of gas, then they would die and rot. All the other animals (slower, dumber) would be buried by flood sediment and fossilized.
The layers that exist in the earth do not represent "millions of years". They were caused by hydrologic sorting. (You know, like that toy with the sand in between glass panes, and you shake it up, and it automatically settles into layers according to density.)

it's not possible at all

and dinosaurs were not killed in any great flood either

the extinction process is only speculated, however, most scientists will agree that a asteroid wiped out any remaining dinosaurs, and there is a heap of evidence that backs up this theory

Yes, dinosaurs and man lived together. They are written about in the Bible: Job 40:15-18-- "Look at the behemoth, which I made along with you and which feeds on grass like an ox. What strength he has in his loins, what power in the muscles of his belly! His tail sways like a cedar; the sinews of his thighs are close-knit. His bones are tubes of bronze, his limbs like rods of iron." This is God talking to Job. Look at what He says here: Look at the behemoth, which I made ALONG WITH YOU.

Some say this passage refers to a hippo or an elephant, but those guys don't have 'tails that sway like a cedar' He is obviously referring to a huge animal which is very strong with a very large/long tail. He's talking about dinosaurs. Need i mention that cave drawings of dinosaurs have been found?

There are 3 heaven and earth ages, same heaven and earth but different ages.

II Pet.3:5-7 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: 6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: 7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
……………………………………….
THE WORLD THAT THEN WAS
Gen.1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

To that earth age the world that then was, belongs all fossils and remains. Scientific estimates or guesses; universe or heavens 20 billion years old, earth 4.6 billion years old, moon 200 to 300 million years younger than earth, dinosaur extinction 65 million years ago, Ice Age 2.5 million years ago.
………………………………………………………………
BEING OVERFLOWED WITH WATER PERISHED
Gen.1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep.

AND THE EARTH WAS
The word “was” (hayah) in Hebrew, was not distinguished by the Revisers, that is the verb “to be” from “to become”. The same Hebrew word “hayah” is translated “became” in Gen.2:7.
AND THE EARTH BECAME

WITHOUT FORM H8414 tohu (to'-hoo) From an unused root meaning to lie waste; a desolation (of surface), that is, desert; figuratively a worthless thing; adverbially in vain: - confusion, empty place, without form, nothing, (thing of) nought, vain, vanity, waste, wilderness.

VOID H922 bohu (bo'-hoo) From an unused root (meaning to be empty); a vacuity, that is, (superficially) an undistinguishable ruin: - emptiness, void.
AND THE EARTH BECAME DESOLATE AND EMPTY
Earth was not created that way but became desolate and empty due to Satan’s rebellion. A global overflowing of water, but not Noah’s deluge. Darkness was upon the (face) of the deep, in other words the whole earth.
Into this we can read; dinosaur extinction, destruction of Atlantis, breakup of Gondwana Land, and the Ice Age.
………………………………………………………………………...
BUT THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH WHICH ARE NOW
Gen.1:2 And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
Gen.1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

About 63 A.D. Peter writes, the heavens and the earth which are now. The heaven and earth age we are in now, today.
BY THE SAME WORD ARE KEPT IN STORE
RESERVED UNTO FIRE
AGAINST THE DAY OF JUDGMENT
AND PERDITION OF UNGODLY MEN
PERDITION G684 apoleia (ap-o'-li-a) From a presumed derivative of G622; ruin or loss (physical, spiritual or eternal): - damnable (-nation), destruction, die, perdition, X perish, pernicious ways, waste.
Some will perish eternally and not see the third heaven and earth age.

How is that not possible. Man and dianasoar did roam the Earth together, the dinasoars were killed during the great flood. How can you fit a dinasoar onto a boat??? You can't. So they drown. That's why they don't exist any more. I am a christian and I believe that dinasoars. There you are.
