It all depends on your child theres no real age .....I am told once my daughter goes to hid to do her business then shes ready cause she knows what shes going to do....so once you see your child hidding to do his or her business id start but have the potty out in the washroom and tell them what its for ...make it a house hold item

In my opinion the best age is about 2 1/2 by then they can pretty much understand what you are saying to them and they can tell you when they need to go.

about 3 or maby 2.
it just depends on the baby. it took me until i was 4 for me to get potty trained..
