I'm willing to bet it will get infinitely better once you move out of her house! It's always a tense situation with married couples living with their own parents.

Not the mother in law.. but other in laws. Eventually you'll get over being annoyed with her. Thankfully you are moving out, and you can get on with your lives without her. Just try to make it through the visits and remember you can go home and be away until the next time.

you havent met my mother in law. see my husband is an only child she tells me what to do all the time. She annoyed me so much we packed up and moved to another town. I have a little boy and she pretty much told me i couldnt have anymore kids cause my husband was an only child and she wanted my son to be an only child she made an appt for me to get my tubes tied. she calls me like 50 times a day and if i dont answer she calls all my family and if they havent heard from me she gets the cops to come to my house to check on me. Oh i know what your going through sweety i feel so sorry for you.

Well, she'll probably jump for joy to have the two of you out of there! Why were you living with her anyway? Get your own place and start over with her and see how it goes! Can't have two women trying to run the same house, know what I mean?

My MIL lives two hours away AND she's lovely, so I'm golden, thank God!
At least you have a deadline as to when you have to stop living with her. Just brush off everything she does or says for the next couple weeks and you'll be home free!
Good luck!

I feel that way about my father. I will literally go out of my way not to have to speak to him. He is a tight wad, an animal abuser and a low down sorry excuse for a human. I know exactly how you feel and Its fine to feel that way.

speaking from experience, any situation that involves being under the same roof as your inlaws, can never be a good thing

Since she provided you with a place to live she can't be all that bad.
