The incidence of disease in the United States is so low that we have become lax. Upon entry into kindergarten children have received only four injections of polio vaccine which is not sufficient for immunity and it is uncommon for adults to receive updates on their immunizations. Even physicians and other healthcare workers although we are required to have certain vaccines are not required to keep up the boosters. This laissez faire attitude extends to cleanliness in the fields and in the factories resulting in periodic outbreaks of disease. The US is in for a very rude awakening one day I fear and yet I must admit that my immunizations are not up to date either. I am human after all but I not only wash my hands after seeing every patient I even clean my stethescope after using it. Medical polls have indicated that the frequency with which physicians cleanse their stethescopes is never. As always I wish you the very best of health.

Much produce is grown is other countries, as well as USA. Uneducated workers are used to plant & harvest the crops. They pee & poo in the fields because they have no facilities or because they don't know any better. The owners put up the rules, but they have to be obeyed.

There was rather severe flooding in California last winter.. carrying sewer material and depositing it in the soil when the water subsided.
