...and dinosaurs were around at the time of the great flood (or so people keep saying), then how do meat-eating dinosaurs (e.g. T-Rex) fit into this picture?
And for the record, I am not an atheist, and I'm not trying to bash anyone's beliefs. Just trying to clarify something.

Most creationists claim that all animals and people were vegetarians before the flood.
And which flood do you THINK I'm talking about?

The belief isn't that every creature was a plant-eater before the flood; it's that everything was before Adam and Eve sinned and were made to leave the Garden of Eden. There is a span of 1500 to 2000 years between Adam and the flood in which there would have been carnivorous plants and animals alike.
And to Alucard...T-Rex's digestive system? Tell me, where have they found and dinosaur organs? Has anyone observed a dinosaur eat?
And to top it off....how do we know that T-Rex was even green? He could have been blue or even purple like Barney. Maybe his extroardinarily large nostrils, the purpose of which is unknown, were used as a sort of combustion chamber. Certain beetles have such a chamber, which they secret two chemicals into that react to form an acid and explode out their rear as a defense mechanism.
Anything is possible since we never have seen a living one. Maybe T-Rex breathed fire out his nose, or caused reactions that made smoke. Hmmmm.....fire breathing dragons? Old renditions kind of look dinosaur-esce, don't they?
Giant squids were scoffed at for ages...

Doesn't map. Adam and Eve may have been vegetarians before getting kicked out of the Garden of Eden, but there are plenty of references in the old testament - especially the 'laws' about eating (like don't eat fish without scales, don't eat cloven hooved animals, etc) - that indicate humans ate meat prior to the great flood. 'Noah' and the 'flood' came l a t e r than the first meat eaters. The chronology isn't Noah/flood, Adam/Eve. It's the other way 'round.

Christians pretty much claim that things were herbivorous before the FALL (when ppl were kicked out of the garden of eden). Not before the flood.
So yeah, all those animals that have mouths designed for chewing meat --- were also supposed to be vegetarians. Because death entered the world with the fall of man.

It is supposed to be before the fall of man, but it still doesn't make any sense at all. There are NO dinosaur bones that show that T-Rexs could be herbivors. And no, it is not only their teeth formation that counts but also their digestive system.

Yes, the meat-eating dinosaurs were herbivores. For example, if you look at the teeth of a fruit bat, they look like they should be meat-eaters/bloodsuckers, or whatever. But they eat only fruit. I will include links for pictures so you can see what i mean.

They were created herbivores. But as soon as sin entered through man, things changed. It wasn't the flood that changed the eating it was sin.

Not before the flood, before the fall. There are several different theories to explain that.

Well you can't clarify it.
There is no logic when it comes to religion.
Hey it's either true or not and most people just don't want to see the truth.
Why should the world give up commonsense and reason for these people, that is what they're asking us to do.

well i don't know about EVERYTHING being herbivorous before the flood, but humans were.
i think christians may think that because they interpret genesis to say that things only started dying because of what happened in the garden. but i've never seen anything in the scriptures that would imply that animals never ate meat. the only verse that i know of dealing with what anything ate is genesis 1:29 which says that humans and only humans were given herbs and fruits to eat. nonhumans are never mentioned.
