ACNE is diet-related! The easiest way for you to clear your acne is to make sure you limit your intake of grains. Grains foods are like bread, pasta, cereal, chips and corn (yep! it aint a vegetable!).
Also cutting out deep-fried foods, is very important, as this is pure crap, and easiest way for your body to get rid of excess crap is through the skin, so don't give your body and option to have the extra stuff...
Limit your dairy consumption! NO! you won't get osteoperosis, your body utilises calcium from dark-green leafy vegetable far better than it does from milk!
SO... if you put these all in to practice, and make sure you're getting enough zinc in your diet (which comes from red meat), then your acne should go away. If you decide to take a zinc supplement it does effect the absorption of copper and selenium. Please be aware of this. (zinc helps healing of tissue - as does vitamin c, which also aids in the absorption of zinc! and both are antioxidants, which mean they protect your body from damage!)
GOOD LUCK!

As an esthetician (skin care specialist) I have seen all kinds of treatments and products at work, both professional and over the counter). Nothing has worked faster and better than cutting out sugary carbonated drinks and replacing them with water. I drink at least 4 bottles of water a day, and if I have a big event or something I want to look especially radiant for, than I will drink 6-8 bottles of water a day for that whole week. Don't drink much more than that though because overhydrating yourself too much can be bad for you and even dangerous.
A little extra exercise will get the blood circulating which will help add a glow to your skin as well.
Good Luck

There are fairly effective over the counter products but the prescription medications are much more effective and they are available as relatively inexpensive generics. Examples would be oral or topical antibiotics and or topical tretinoin. This is a very common problem and I am surprised that I have not read more questions regarding acne. Physicians regard acne as a medical condition not a cosmetic issue and acne is not caused by poor hygeine so it is not resolved by attention to hygeine.

Wash your face at least twice a day. Avoid greasy food, and drink lots of water. Also, try and eat more fruit and veggies.
