Since it's the winter I have to run by myself, but I have a problem, I cant run fast(I'm 12 and I run a hilly course in 19 min)
What is the best running form?
And what training should I do to get faster and help my heart?
Help!

You might not want to hear this but at 12 years old the best thing you can do is build up your base mileage. You're a little young for weight training or indoor workouts. (I assume winter means snow where you live) Just keep running and adding up the miles. I coach HS CC and our athletes put in up to 50 miles a week during the summer and about 35 - 40 during the winter. You should start small, maybe 10 or 12 miles a week and move up from there.

Wow that scared me for a second! a twelve year old running a 19 min 5k is crazy! 19 min for 2 mile isn't very fast, but you'll get faster when you get older. Try running 3 miles a day, 6 days a week and add a mile every 3-weeks is a very basic endurance building program.

I run a 5k (3.125 miles) in 19 min 30 sec and i started 3 months earlier at 28 min and all i did to get faster is run miles that is all it takes is miles and miles and more miles. I run with a guy on my xc team who runs a 5k in 15 min 45 sec, and all he does is run and run. run 5 days a week have a hard run then a easy run then a medium run then easy then end with a hard good run. tust me it will work.

Day1. Run for 30 minutes and walk 10 mins. Record how far you run (i.e. number of laps or blocks).
Day2. Do some exercise in the gym.
Repeat a few times and than increase your run time.

good luck to you.
