in home ec. we made some sort of caramel dip with marshmallow and brown sugar or something I just can't remember can you give me the recipe? Thanks

CARAMELIZED MARSHMALLOW DELIGHTS

14 oz. pkg. caramels
1 lg. pkg. marshmallows
1/2 c. butter
1 can condensed milk
1 box Rice Krispies
finely chopped walnuts

In microwave, melt caramels, butter and milk on high until completely melted. In dish, crush Rice Krispies and mix with chopped walnuts. Dip marshmallows in caramel mixture, then roll in Rice Krispies and nut mixture. Set on waxed paper. These freeze well. Great snack for parties

Let see if we can get you on the right track, to make caramel it takes basically sugar and heat so we need to get the mellows back to the liquid state. Heat, a little water and mellows, stir stir stir, add a bit of butter, stir and keep well stirring till it nstarts to bubble and change colors to the lite brown stage, that would be in the 265 degree range, a little milk, stir and do you think we have it? I think so
