Why do creationists think they came from dirt and a rib 6500 years ago?

that's like asserting because of fact people have not got the features to video exhibit Infared it does not exist. From the at present prevalent medical regulations and theories we can estimate what got here approximately. Like all of us know there replaced right into a huge bang because of fact the universe is continuously increasing as shown with the help of the crimson shift. you need to extremely genuinely change the question to creationists did no longer exist 6 billion years in the past(as that replaced into previously the earth existed) how do they know a god created the earth and each thing else.

Some of us have evolved and then others write questions like yours! Monkey hater! HA! What's so bad about monkeys? They're probably a lot smarter than you. Maybe monkeys evolved from you!

we don't actually believe that humans came from a monkey billions and billions of years ago. more like evolved from a common ancestor.

Saying "we come from a mokey" can sound foolish because it's leaving all the details in evolution, like that our DNA and physical characteristics are very similar to primates... and it took a lot of years to evolve it wasn't like, theres a pregnant mokey and the baby comes out and it's a human.

Because of the similar genetic structure....

and they dont think they came from monkeys.

Maybe astraliopithicus...but most definately not a monkey.

I am a creationist. But, its wise to be well read on both sides.

I always tell Atheists to read Mere Christianity by CS Lewis and Fundamentalists to read Origin of the Species by Charles Darwin.

Maybe if more of both sides took my advice there'd be a little more understanding in places like these.

(One tells how and the other tells why, in my humble opinion.)

Come on...it makes as much if not more sense as "because the bible says so." (Billions and billions is probably too long ago for about anything here...)

Hahaha....

They don't.

They do believe they are descended from apes or ape-like creatures, however, and that they split off from Chimps about 3 million years ago... They believe this because they believe similarity denotes association (please ignore the logical fallacy).

They also believe that the earth is several billion years old because they believe they can date the earth, based on the assumption that the rate things are happening now is the rate things have always happened. Another fallacy here, but don't worry, it doesn't bother them...

Well some did; but not Adam and Eve!
Since they committed adultery (the forbidden fruit), their children have to control their animal disire they inherinted from their adulterous parents...
Some people just use 'evolution' as an excuse for sleeping around...they cant help their animal-desire; can they?
