i have a kicker comp vr and need to know what a good amp would be for this.

Most any amp that's 2006 CEA Compliant and that matches the watts RMS as well as the calculated impedance (ohms).

Anything in the price range of a/d/s, Adire, Audax, Brax, Digital Designs (DD), Directed (DEI), Earthquake, Helix, JBL, Memphis, MMats, MTX, Orion, OZ, Power Precision (PPI), Soundstream, US Amps, the list goes on. Just look for amps that are cea compliant and you can trust them. A lot of amps that aren't are still good, just match them up with specs and price range of these amps listed to determine if you think they're good or not.

i'm using a MTX Thunder 81000D 1500W RMS amp with my Kicker Solobaric 15" L7. and it thumps hard...

A great brand of amp is JL Audio. Be warned - you pay for what you get - in other words.. it will be expensive.

Try Ebay.

anything rockford fosgate or infinity is good
