Attention Muslims?

Is it me or is every1 just Islamophobic? Okay I get it we're not exactly the most loved ppl in the world right now for obvious reasons. Shall i still bother to to spread the truth and not argue back even though some ppl on this page havedecided 2 go so low as to mention that they will throw the Qu'ran down the toilet. I think we should just answer those who really are asking a decent question and ignore those who are just trying to get on our nerves. What do u think??

You may ignore what you like but you must face the facts. Getting on your nerves is the least of my worries. instead of convincing non-muslims focus your energy on muslims who are swaying from the TRUTH... as a muslim it is woderful to live in a country where my religion and others can practice freely. I would like to see jews, and christians going abroad to islamic countries that hate the western culture.and practice thier religion without being killed...get it!!! Sometimes we are our own worst enemy. Primitive thinking does not help.Educate our children and adults too. You would not have the luxury of freedom of speech in some of these islamic countries where your opinion does not matter,and where you would be hung for defending christians, jews,americans or womens rights. It is amazing to me that many islamic countries bash our north American life and yet so many muslims are migrating here and to all english speaking countries. When muslims call for all muslims around the world to come together and fight the western world,israelies etc. what must the good muslims do? They must honour thier citizenship and loyalty to the country that that took them in. It is a priveledge to live in this side of the world and i am so poud to be free. You do not see flocks of christians and jews or anyone else looking for a better life migrating to India or Pakistan or Afghanistan, china etc. If you know that you are not the most loved people as of now then do something about it. Yes speak the truth and be prepared for backlash.It is only fair as we want to protect our people and livelihood too.We on this end value life and are not willing to die for religion. We all must fight to preserve our rights and freedom.I am certain that Yahoo Answers would not be popular in Islamabad!!! Ignorance and anger make people say things like throwing the Qu'ran in the toilet. Christians have been executed in Islamic countries for having a BIBLE...
Attention muslims perhaps when you are making your once in a lifetime pilgrimage to Mecca you must brag about the nation you now live in and defend North America and see how lwhat will happen. You can start a rally here and protest the mistreatment of muslims in the media etc. it would be a peacful rally where you would not be threatened to be shot at. But you could not defend the western culture(all races and religions ) in Say Iraq or Iran. We both have good arguments. But terrorism and the threat of our existence speaks louder then anything else..nuclear weapons in the hands of a primitive regime that would commit suicide for it's cause is barbaric. To watch your own children die and wipe out the next generation...come on now...wherever you and i are writing from thank our god for being safe.

Everyone is entitled to their religious beliefs. There is a lot of prejudice on this websites. The anti-Arab sentiment seems to come in waves, as in for two weeks it will be quite strong and for another two weeks there will be less of it. I suggest reporting any hateful commentary, but please do not assumet that questions about faith and culture are in the same category. I don't condone any anti-Islamic sentiment. There are some really questionable people out there with a lot of hate.

Someone like Julia misrepresents the Muslim community. Most of the Muslims seem to want to talk about their faith and spread the word, not engage in prejudicial commentary. If people did not answer her questions, though, she wouldn't be getting any attention.

You know maybe if a few of you would actually speak out against those "obvious reasons" you might not have the problems with the rest of us. You know there are big pro-Hamas rallies and it would go a long way with me to see more than 15-20 at the anti-terrorist ones.

You know H A, I myself am a little Islamophobic. And I'm just being honest --- I don't trust Muslims. I have Muslims friends and all, and I like them, but sometimes I think, "Are they really who they say they are?"
Look, I'm sorry if you feel everyone hates you --- they don't and neither do I. I think it's just a matter of trust. Many of us just don't trust Muslims after all that's happened.
I hope the attitudes on both sides change, but until radicalism amongst some Muslims stops, I don't think these feelings will go away.

Whydo you think that is? Because the terriost are Islamic, and doesnt your religion teach to hate and kill the infidels. That would be anyone who is not Islamic, right? When the japs bombed Pearl harbor the japanese people were put in camps in the US. Now I'm not saying all Islamic people are terrorists, but you understand where I'm coming from.

I don't think that people are necessarily Islamophobic, they are more likely uneducated. The next time someone mentions flushing the Qur'an down the toilet, pity them because they are ignorant and/or jealous. Just my thoughts......

I am not a Muslim but it sounds like a good idea to me. I think if more people thought like you it would make everyone happier. It seems far better to just educate people who are truly interested and be peaceful instead of feeding into ignorant behavior or acting out yourself.

U know what **** what anybody thinks about the muslim religion. I personally know people who practice the muslim religion and they are good people. No one in this world knows what religion is correect and christians to me or the worst hypocrits in the world. and we wont know what religion is the right one until the end of time. basically people think they can analyzed something based off an event that was totally a christians fault(BUSH, duh)!! so who cares about the muslim religion.

Just answer the decent questions from people who generally want information and want to know about Islam.The morons who ask offensive and abusive questions have no respect for themselves so how can we expect them to have respect for us.
