You should throw them away. There could be micro-molds growing on them that could make you sick. The longest you should ever keep any dry food good is 12 months. You might be throwing food away, but you wont be getting sick from it.

Definately trash!! Since the almonds were sliced, they were opened up and released their oils into the bag, which even though the bag is sealed, doesn't mean they last forever. And rancid food doesn't necessarily smell or even taste bad. Even that old mith about Twinkies doesn't apply to anything two years old. Loosen the purse strings a bit and get a new bag of nuts!!

No, throw them away. Nuts contain oil and can become rancid. Store nuts in the freezer for a longer shelf life.

Safe, that's very iffy, so I wouldn't. They certainly won't taste good, that's for sure. I made the mistake of grabbing a handful of walnut pieces from the bag last week, and I had to spit them out. Turns out that bag had been open for over a year. So just toss 'em.

The FDA interior the U. S. authorized a three weeks era after expiration date on some extreme focus sodium product. Canned foodstuff which comprise of meat or fowl product are between those exceptions, on your case that's a lot previous that 3 weeks era. Please throw them out!

Sounds like a real nutty situation...
Uhm no unless they were sealed and frozen I wouldn't touch them. They may not look bad or smell bad...but they have already started to break down at the molecular level...that is bad for you.
