Go to a Sally Beauty Supply, buy a pack of hair and some glue, and have a friend glue them in. It's definitely not hard - just make horizontal parts 1" apart starting at 1" from the bottom of your hairline. Cut the hair into 1" wide sections and go for it until you're satisfied with the length and fullness. This should cost you about $25, but because of the low cost and the glue the extensions won't last as long and may damage your hair. You really do have to spend a lot to get good hair extensions.

I've been a big fan of extensions for years and have spent an absolute fortune on them. Unfortunately they really ruin your hair, I took out the last lot in August & my own hair is abysmal as a result. I now wear wigs & hair pieces a lot of the time, I own about 12. I order mine from Internationalwig.com who have an amazing selection at great prices, this way you can have a load of different hairstyles as often as you want, in any colour & all without damaging your own hair which you can grow in the meantime.

my daughter uses them, they are pretty cheap from the market (preston) she glues them in but its hard work getting them out. She has to use loads of conditioner and most of her hair comes with them! Get your hair cut every 6-8 weeks, it'll grow faster and thicker so you won't need extensions.
