People should respect other people, not just "men should respect women." That doesn't mean that women can do anything to them and they should just sit there and take it. If she had the guts to do that to your brother, he returned her the favor. That is NOT wrong. She got what she deserved.

I think you went about that total wrong! You should not have rewarded him for beating up anyone, even if she did hit him first. I do believe that women should not hit men and think that it is any different that if a man hits them, but I just think fighting is so barbaric in the first place. Why would you force pain on someone just to get your point across? Just leave it for the people on the Jerry Springer show. The people with no class. I find it disgusting you felt the need to reward him.

First off why are you teaching your 11yr old brother it is okay to beat up on women? By the age of 21 I bet he is in jail for domestic violence. As far as you saying some little girl "cut" your brother over a sneeze I highly doubt it. Some morals your parents taught you. I teach my kids that you do not hit another person unless it is in self defense and if my son EVER hits a girl I promise you THIS girl will whoop his *** so good that he'll never raise his hand to another. Raising my son not to hit women does not mean that he will be raise a "pussy" would you want some man hitting your mother or sister? How old are you anyhow 15?

Your "guidance" may very well end up in your little brother spending the rest of his life behind bars.

When he's a man, and "punches a woman's lights out" and accidentally kills her ... do you think the law will say "She deserved it, she hit him first ... let the guy go"? Men are significantly stronger than women (well, most are ... ) and can cause severe/fatal damage to a woman, using only their bare hands ...

To teach your little brother to act in such a manner is pure stupidity.

You're so full of it. If he punched a little girl's light out, your parents would be looking at a lawsuit. Unless you follow your little brother around all day, you weren't there to witness what he really did to provoke her. I'm sure it was more than laughing at her considering he's a bully being trained by an idiot brother.

Other than giving other human beings basic respect and courtesy, I don't think men or women deserve special respect because of gender.

That said, I don't have a whole lot of respect for people who encourage others to respond to violence with violence. Sure, if you're trapped and there's no way out, you might have to defend yourself, but as it is, it's likely she, or someone who likes her, will attack your brother, so he'll have to attack someone else, and they... Violence should be a last resort - and when people have to use violence, it means intelligence has failed, which is hardly cause for celebration.

If she hit and cut your brother, then she should have been facing the police and serious consequences. You rewarded your brother for not being any better than the person who attacked him? How sad.

she didn't have any right to hit him, but two rights don't make a wrong.

you are a creep for thinking it is okay to take out a girl/woman just because she hits you.

when was the last time a chick knocked a guy out? i have never heard of that happening. usually chicks are much weaker and i think your point of view is wrong.

maybe your 11 yr old bro is just a wus, and if you are such a big strong man, then why don't you teach how to take a punch.

Lovely role model. No, I don't think she's worth respecting, and you're teaching your little brother to be the same. C'mon, man...don't teach him those behaviors so later in life he'll hit his wife and kids....

Ok, first of all, she shouldn't have punched him. Second, why did he punch her back? Couldn't he have just ignored it?
It's never right to punch someone else, be they girl or guy.
