Hi Amy,

I used to have this issue with my DH. all of our kids at one time or another spent most of their time in our bed. I love my kids in our bed. It is a wonderful close feeling & i so adore the extra cuddle time.

I just kept reasuring dh that yes it is easier to have them in our bed for my sake but for theirs they need the closeness & safeness that is associated with haveing me right their.

your son has along time to learn to fall asleep on his own. Remind your dh your son is still a baby. He needs to know his mama is always by him..It is not forever & your dh needs to know how strongly you feel about the issue. My dh came around, i'll keep my fingers crossedthat yours will to.

I forgot to add that still, at toddler & preschool age my 2 youngest still find their way into our bed. If they are extremely restless or are sick either dh goes out onto the sleeper sofa or the kids & i do. My oldest no loger wants to be in bed with us & thats ok. She came to that on her own.

Don't do what the Red Indians used to do, when a child was born they would look out of the tee pee and the very first thing they saw, they would name the child after, Running Bull, Blowing wind. My friend in the UK has a son called "Car being nicked" and a daughter called " Two dogs shagging".

I think Elisha is a more feminine name. I like Asher. If I ever get to have a son, I would name him Keaton Gregory. I have always liked that name.

Congrats and Good Luck!!

Personally I don't really like any of the names there. I think Elisha sounds oo much like a girls name. If I had to choose one of those names I would choose Asher and call him Ash for short. Good Luck with the rest of your pregnancy and hope you have a healthy baby boy.

Elisha sounds too much like a girl's name. Asher is different, but keep in mind how kids will come up with all kinds of "nicknames".

I like Elijah (the other spelling makes me want to pronounce it like Alicia)...Asher could be okay, or maybe just name him Ash because that's what everyone will end up calling him.

Atreyu has always been a favorite name of mine for a boy. Asher is cute too.
