Did you treat her like a queen before she told her? If you're acting extra sweet to her now that might be making her feel like there's something wrong with her. You need to make her know that there's absolutely nothing wrong with her that needs to be fixed. Depression happens to a lot of people. Make sure she knows you'll always be there for her to talk to if she needs an outlet. You might want to suggest she go to a therapist, say that you'll go with her if she wants you to, but don't force your company into the sessions. You should make an effort to initiate a conversation for her to open up about her feelings about the depression. Wait until the moment's right to talk about it, don't force it. If you're open she'll come to you.

Well I think you should give her a bunch of hugs tell her how much you love her...take her out to some place fun go cart riding do something that will get her to be happy..buy her something and make her feel like she's the queen and that should help and ask her if she needs help with anything...

Awww, that's sweet you want to cheer her up.
Find out what she's depressed about, then do all the nice stuff.
Sing her a song(regardless if you can sing or not)
Play a sweet love song, and dance with her.
Hold her and talk to her like you were one of her girlfriends.
Do things you normally wouldn't that are passionate, could work.
Good Luck! And maybe a sweet kiss!

I take the picnic basket and make a nice salad with cheeses, you might want to avoid alcholhol or drugs as this ehnhances depression. But make it romantic, it's sweet you want to do something she should be able to see that. If not she might need some good ol counceling or anti-depressants.
Take her for a walk that helps depression.

Invite her over to your house to watch a movie together or something. You can snuggle on the couch... and I am NOT thinking of things that you can do on the couch :) Or take her out somewhere like to the mall? lol

Romance her, and as funny as it sounds you could get her a tiara, and take her to the movies, and role play, you are her king and she is the queen.
just play and goof off, she might like it.

I think that you should just give her time by herself. Maybe she doesn't feel like being bothered at this moment.
