When I was about 7 years old I was taken away from my birth mother and put up for adoption and now I am about to be 17 years old and I got contact of her and like I want to live with her and see her would it be against the law to go and do that at the age of 17 years old? Just to move with my birth family (mom) I mean I though I was old enough to do whatever I wanted and what if I just run away? Would that be okay just to walk out?

Why were you taken from your birth mother at 7 ? Was she unfit? Is she even willing to have you back in her home? I really think you should sit down with your adoptive parents and have this conversation. Maybe you guys could work something out? Like 6 months with them, 6 months with your birth mother? Don't just run away, you will scare the hell out of them. Please talk to them before you decide anything. Good Luck

Wait until you are 18, then you can do what you want. Running away sounds like something a 10 year old would do. Use tact and grace. Dont just abandon your adoptive parents.

Well if i were you i would run away and go with your real mom.
Because shes the one who really loves you and if she wanted you , you should go with her.
Who cares!! Get away from the others. Youll be happier living your life with your real family!!
Just get the heck out of there as fast as you can. Say take a friend with you at night to get all of your stuff. And just go, go to another state. If she really wanted you she'd do the same thing!
So i hope the best for ya

that would not be a good idea, you got taken away from your mother for some reason so maybe it would not be a stable place for you to stay. also you need to think about the parents that you have now, the ones that habe raised you, think about thier feelings..how would that effect them if you told them you wanted to go and live with them? they have taken you in and raised you so i think that you should stay with your "new" parents. get to know your mom but you dont need to move out of the house to live w/ her. i am sure if would not be for the best!

Tell your adoption mother and say I would like to go with my birth mother. Would that be okay and it dosent matter what you say because im going to i just wanted to know if it is okay? she says yes

i go with my birth mom and move in with her and spend alot of time with her.

if adopt mother says no i would...

i would tell her im going anyway and i am old enough to make my own decisions i dont need your help anymore and this is all i reallly wish to do is be with her for the holidays spend time with her and move in. so i am going no doubt about it.

i think it's not too long to wait until you are 18 and that will not be a problem.

or you could get emancipated.

or if your current parents agree, then it would be ok. this is the best way, get your current parents to agree and allow it.
