Michael's stores have these little frame ornaments that you can add a picture to and can be put on the Christmas tree. They are $3 each so with tax you will spend a total of $33.

Oh--lunch is a great idea--be sure to send soda too--and to let them know a day in advance so they don't bring their lunch (most of my child's worker's brown bag it)--don't count on pizza for the kids--some parents may not like that--their kids having pizza--who knows--make it special just for the workers!
Also as for me, here's what I told another person with a similar question:
The Dollar Tree has really nice glass ornaments. That's what I got my child care workers--there are ten of them. I know that's getting them a separate gift each, but it's something from your child to them individually, which is nice. Then, I'm also making cookies over the weekend to send. I send my gifts in the middle of the month so that the gifts are enjoyed and appreciated before all the other gifts start coming in.
Also---as an aside--I try to send the slice and bake cookies to the teachers about once a month just to be nice---it's cheap, they appreciate it and you can't be TOO nice to your child care providers!
GOOD LUCK!

Lunch is a very nice idea. WHen I taught preschool, just being thought of was a thrill. You could get a couple of nice big bunches of flowers and break them into 10 separate bouquets- tie with ribbon. I loved stuff like that. Craft stores have clear glass ornaments that you can put paint in and shake, then personalize with glitter glue. Lots of things you can do on the cheap- it is just a nice way to say you appreciate them, does not have to be much.

The lunch idea is great. Day care workers really appreciate that espcially during their busy schedules. You might want to ask them if there is something that their center really needs. Maybe supplies, equipment, volunteers, crafts. If it is something that will cost more than your budget allows, you could always get the other parents to pitch in and give a group gift to the group of day care workers.

the pizza idea is awesome!! definatly don't get teacher themed gifts like mugs and picture frames, those gifts suck, I was a teacher, I know! gift certificates for food were the best gifts, even from mcdonalds, starbucks, panera, etc.

Pizza sounds like a very good idea but it can get expensive fast! You could also do subway, but I don't know how much that costs.

lunch sounds like a great idea, or if you could bake something easy like cookies, brownies, cupcakes, that'd be cute too.
