Older man, younger woman?

Question

Do you think it is possible for an older man and much younger woman to have a true.successful relationship? My father and I have a great relationship, and my current (much older) boyfriend is not rich by any means, we are both broke. I just think that sometimes I let the bad things people say about us get to me and I start to doubt his love for me and vice versa. Have you ever known a couple with a huge age difference that stuck together? Thanks!

I don't think we should allow society to dictate age restrictions in relationships. There is a 21 year age gap between my boyfriend and I (I'm 27). I have never been happier in my life. Just like with any relationship, it needs to have the essentials like trust, understanding, communication, interests, goals, etc. If those elements are in place, then nothing else matters. Love is the greatest feeling in the world, and age shouldn't stop anyone from experiencing it.

All I have to say to this is .. I HOPE SO. I am currently in pursuit of a much younger woman . I realy feel as though I have a true attraction for her; both physically and emotionally. We get along fantastically when we are alone together. However, I sometimes feel that others are looking at us when we go out together. I sometimes wonder what need I fullfill for her: Its hard for us older men to sometimes beleive a younger woman is into us, and not just our wallets. Yeah i've known some but being super old and young has its problems, like when the guy dies first you're stuck trying to fend for yourself, bills, kids ect. Sometimes dating in the same age range has it's ups.

It's very rare but there are those that do love each other so intensely, that they overcome the odds. It will be difficult at best. And remember, one day you'll wake up next to a wrinkled up old man...and you'll still be a young woman.... If you don't think that will affect your feelings then fine but if there is any doubt whatsoever...you may want to reconsider.

My parents were 20 years apart, and they were very happy. They stayed together until he died of heart failure, so I would have to say yes.
