It's the worst thing when you just met someone for the first time I went through it with my sister whom I just met for the first time two years ago. I bought my sister A gift certificate for the mall and just put in a really really special card

Maybe, if you want to put in the time and effort, photos of you and your family from birth to the present. It can be a tool in helping you explain what your life was like and maybe, he can tell you about himself. Y'know or a watch.

You can use personal photos to make a 2007 calander.
If he lives far away a phone card for calling other relatives is a nice idea.

How about a picture of you? In a nice picture frame, of course. Or better yet, a picture of the both of you together...it is always nice to have memories. Prayers =)

Depends. You could do gift cards for something impersonal if it makes you feel more comfortable. Everyone shops at wal-mart sooner or later!!!
