I get migraines and only prescription medication works for me. I use Imitrix and that works pretty good but I also need to lie down in a dark quiet room for a few hours before I feel well enough to function. I also have a prescription medication called Maxalt which if taken right when the migraine starts, it prevents the migraine from happening. Migraines are very specific type of headaches, it may not necessarily be a migraine you have.

I took it for a while, I found it didn't work for me. I never had any side effects other then being a little sleepy. But then I read about it and there are A LOT of nasty side effects, that helped me to make the decision not to use it any more.

my wife takes it for her migraines and it works great, i have not seen her need to lay down for a migraine since starting them. the side effect she gets is weight loss, she is happy about that. other than that she has no side effects.
