yes- because dairy products often increase the thickness of respiratory secretions making it harder to loosen them up and cough them up. If you can increase fluids made with water-water helps to thin respiratory secretions and makes it easier to cough them up. Pedialyte, water, orange juice, or any kind of juice. Other alternatives are popsicles and jello. Hope your child is better soon! Good Luck!!

Dairy products can cause extra mucus, give her water or club soda, popsicles, lots of cuddles!
